Wilderness Riding Ipswich

Yesterday two friends of mine, Gary and Scott took me to Ipswitch, about 1 hour drive inland of Brisbane. Riding there was soul soothing!! It reminded me of going along Haleakala. There were no houses, hardly any cars, just a nicely paved road. I have missed “riding” since I arrived in Australia. I mean riding without constant up and down and stops due to stop signs or pedestrians. It was the nicest training day since being in Australia.
Gary is “my” bike fitter and Scott is “my” massage therapist. They have been my super supporter team for World’s.
Gary Land owns Pro Bike Fit, which uses the Retuel Bike Fitting System. He set me up on my Felt and even lent me his carbon Trek TT, which I have been riding for 2 weeks. He will even give me aerowheels and aerohelmet for ITU World’s. He is amazing! Scott Robinson, aka Mascott is a cyclist competing at World level and Massage Therapist at Uni Queensland and also operates out of his home. He has worked on athletes from the Australian Institute of Sport, Queensland Academy of Sport, New South Wales Institute of Sport, Victorian Institute of Sport, South Australian Institute of Sport and the West Australian Institute of Sport. Impressive list. He knows what he is doing!
Just as Aussis name their bikes, they give each other nick names. So Scott is Mascott when cycling and Gary is Grasshopper. I'll let you know what I will get stamped with ...

Enjoy the little videos for your entertainment!!
